Perea Elementary School requests proposals from licensed and insured contractors with expertise in HVAC. The qualified applicant will assist Perea ES with repairing and maintaining much needed work to our HVAC units. The result of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be an approved bid to perform the work as described below:
Lochinvar Boilers:
B1- Needs two draft fan assemblies, needs new igniter and supply water shutoff valve leaks when closed
B2- Needs new igniter
B3- Needs new igniter and circulating pump is leaking
B4- Needs two draft fan assemblies
Disassemble, clean boilers and adjust airflow.
Pumps:
P1- Needs to have a new coupling insert and the motor and pump realigned.
P3- Needs to be rebuilt. Needs new bearings, seal and gaskets. Motor needs new bearings. Needs new coupling insert.
P4- Needs to be rebuilt. Needs new bearings, seal and gaskets. Motor needs new bearings. Needs new coupling insert and a new Hub.
Carrier Chiller:
Condenser coils need cleaning
Operating display not working properly
Condenser fan motor #2 needs new blade
Condenser fan motor #5 needs new blade
Circuit breaker for compressor B3 needs to be replaced
Compressor A1 has a meg ohm reading of 250 but will run
Compressor A2 has a meg ohm reading of 1000 will run
Compressor B1 is bad and needs to be replaced
Compressor B2 has a meg ohm reading of 300 but will run
Compressor B3 has a meg ohm reading of 5 (extremely low] will run
McQuay Chiller
Phase monitor is bad and needs to be replaced.
Compressor #1 has low meg ohm readings but will run.
Compressor #2 is bad and needs to be replaced
Leaving evaporator temp sensor is bad and needs to be replaced.
Flow switch is bad and needs to be replaced.
Other repairs needed:
Auto trap is leaking continuously.
Pressure relief valve is leaking and needs to be replaced.
